Since its introduction, it has stolen over $3 million.

2. Shamoon

And this is one of the most destructive examples of cyber crime. Just to cover its tracks, the virus overwrites boot sectors in computers, therefore rendering the computers completely useless. This monster was unleashed on the wealthiest company on the planet, the Saudi Arabian state oil company, ARAMCO.

3. Creech USB Drone Virus

You may think that this is a simple key logger. Until you find out how it was used. This virus infected 30 U.S. drones, logging the key strokes of the pilots during missions over such war zones as Afghanistan. If the user wanted to, they could then use those drones for their own purposes.

All of these examples are on a grand scale, they all affect governments or corporations, so they should not scare you, right? Wrong. Think about the amount of security these organizations had before the attacks. Now think of your own security. Anyone could break into your computer if they wanted to.
